i1Pro 3 Spectrophotometer
Intended for professional imaging and printing applications where consistency with calibration and profiling capabilities are required, the i1Pro 3 provides the ability to quickly and efficiently create RGB color profiles.
  • 4.5mm aperture is suitable for a variety of printing materials
  • Full-spectrum LED illumination for increased reliability along with single-pass and simultaneous M0, M1, and M2 measurement capability
  • Optical Brightener Compensation predicts what colors printed on optically brightened paper will look like under both standard and specific light conditions using a single hand-held device
  • LED illumination for increased reliability
  • 5000 cd/m² measurement for bright displays
  • Self-cleanable aperture protection glass and calibration white tile cover protect against dust and dirt
i1Profiler Software
The included i1Profiler software, which is based on X-Rite's i1Prism color engine, offers powerful and flexible control for calibrating and profiling monitors, projectors, scanners, and RGB printers using either basic or advanced setup methods to various needs and applications. This software allows you to create color profiles for displays up to 5000 cd/m², produce custom RGB printer profiles for consistent results on a wide range of photographic papers, make custom scanner profiles with ColorChecker Classic or ColorChecker Digital SG targets, and have quality assurance for soft proofing on monitors and verify output quality on printers.

    Monitor:
  • Small, medium, large or custom color patch selection
  • Utilize presets for video production workflows
  • Create profiles for any ambient light condition for optimal viewing of color critical work
  • Unlimited gamma, white point, and luminance settings
  • Measure other displays or light sources to use as targets
  • Workgroup match utilizing reference profiles to match several monitors
  • Gray balance optimization for more neutral and better-defined grays, in any lighting condition
  • Chromatic adaptation formula for a closer visual match between different monitors with different white points
  • Automatic Display Calibration automatically controls and adjusts display hardware settings

  • Digital Projector:
  • Build an accurate on-screen profile using a similar process to calibrating a monitor
  • Takes room conditions into consideration when creating profile, including projected colors, screen color, and room lighting

  • Scanner:
  • Develop an accurate scanner profile using the included ColorChecker Classic Mini target (or an optional larger ColorChecker Classic or ColorChecker Digital SG target)

  • RGB Printer:
  • Intelligent iterative profiling technology ensures your output is reproduced accurately from print to print and printer to printer
  • Optical Brightener Compensation (OBC) functionality to account for optical brightening agents in select papers
  • Optimize profiles based on your images for specific colors, black & white, or skin tones, or for Pantone libraries and captured spot colors
  • Supports high patch count test charts for high accuracy that is ideal for fine art printing and proofing needs
  • Use included standard test charts or build your own to meet specific color and paper size requirements
  • Easily apply output profiles for your gallery, studio, or any specific lighting condition for an ideal color match

  • Quality Assurance:
  • Monitor and display quality assurance function to check soft proofing
  • Printer quality assurance function to check print quality using ISO 12647-7 compliant media wedges
