These cards don't overheat like a number of other well known brands and come at a reasonable price.

I picked up a couple more 512s for my Canon C500M2, but I also use them in the R5. Since arriving a few back Pro Grade has been my brand of choice. They've been rock solid for me. Cheers.

Hey, it does what it's supposed to do. I don't shoot video and it's write speed for even fast action photography is fast enough for me.

I thought this was a pretty good card until it failed. I would not purchase again. I'd recommend spending hard earned dollars on a higher quality unit. Very disappointed.

The card processes images very quickly. Even when there are multiple images to process at the same time.

Is this unit compatible with Sony a7r v?
Asked by: Daesuk James
No, the ProGrade Digital 256GB CFexpress 2.0 Type B Gold Memory Card is not compatible with the Sony a7R V Mirrorless Camera. The a7R V uses CFexpress Type A cards, not Type B. For that camera one can use the ProGrade Digital 160GB CFexpress Type A Cobalt Memory Card, BH #PRPGCFXA160 (https://bhpho.to/3k4ojjz).

No, the ProGrade Digital 256GB CFexpress 2.0 Type B Gold Memory Card won't work with the Sony FX6. For that camera you need a CFExpress type A or SD card. For example this one. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1729319-REG

128GB Work for Canon Eos R5 8K Raw Video?
Asked by: Piyawut
I just tested this and it failed on 8K RAW recording after a few seconds. Re-tested several times, same issue. Made sure it was the only card in the camera. Tried 8K-D in RAW and 8K-U in all formats and all frame rates. I have firmware version 1.1.1 installed.

The canon R5 compatibility chart specifically states that the Gold versions of ProGrade cards are not fast enough for 8K.
