Designed for emerging mainstream imaging applications, the 512GB CFexpress 2.0 Type B Gold Memory Card from ProGrade Digital provides read speeds of up to 1700 MB/s, which helps to quickly offload content to your computer, and write speeds of up to 1500 MB/s. Additionally, the Gold's minimum write speed is guaranteed not to drop below 400 MB/s, which allows for the uninterrupted recording of a wide variety of codecs, including raw 4K video, 4K and 6K ProRes 4444, 4K, 6K, and 8K ProRes 422 HQ, and more. 128GB Work for Canon Eos R5 8K Raw Video?
I just tested this and it failed on 8K RAW recording after a few seconds. Re-tested several times, same issue. Made sure it was the only card in the camera. Tried 8K-D in RAW and 8K-U in all formats and all frame rates. I have firmware version 1.1.1 installed.

The canon R5 compatibility chart specifically states that the Gold versions of ProGrade cards are not fast enough for 8K.

Compatible with the Nikon D6 camera?
Compatible with the Nikon D6 camera?
Don't get this card for a D6. While it will work, it's a slow CFExpress card. Get the ProGrade Cobalt or a similar high performance card like the Sony Tough or Delkin Power or Black. My testing in the Z7ii, Z6, and D850 had the ProGrade Gold 60-70% slower than the better cards once the buffer filled.
