I haven't used for portraits, but the lens is a joy to use for street and low light, pin sharp and no aberration whatsoever - that I noticed. Almost unbelievable performance for the price.

Would this lens affect eye auto focus and is it good for video?

This is a manual focus lens and has no bearing with eye autofocus. If you don't mind manually focusing for video, yes, this would be a good lens for video.

question

Can 7artisans be used with Sony a7 III ? If so what adapter can you use?
Asked by: Leonard R.
You dont need an adapter, it comes built with a Sony Mount. Just make sure you order the Sony model. Also keep in mind it is an all manual lens, there are no electronics that talk to the camera. But that being said its a fun little lens for the money. It feels well built and reminds me of shooting with a Leica style lens.
