The Pro PRONTO Autofocus Adapter for Leica M-Mount Lens to FUJIFILM X-Mount Camera from FotodioX is designed to allow manual focus Leica M-mount to operate with autofocus functionality on select FUJIFILM X-mount cameras. This adapter supports infinity focus, and can also improve near-range portraiture by allowing the lens to focus closer than its native minimum focus distance. By placing space between the camera body and lens, focusing distance is shortened and the effect of magnifying the subject is created. Additionally, the adapter can be combined with separately available lens to Leica M-Mount camera adapters to enable the use of other lens types on a FUJIFILM X-mount camera.

At this time the FotodioX Pro PRONTO Autofocus Adapter for Leica M-Mount Lens to FUJIFILM X-Mount Camera has not been tested on the XH2S.

The adaptor discharge the batteries include when camera is turned off accord the manufacturer. Is this an issue? What about the AF for faces, does it work?
When the camera is off it does not send any power to the lens. The adapter does not pull any power when the camera is off. It does work with a single autofocusing modes, including face detection.

Unfortunately, Fotodiox does not list the XPRO 2 as a compatible model with this adapter.

The product description (LM-FXRF-PRN) state Leica M to X mount adapter but in Q&A the users are taking about Nikon Lenses. Is there a mismatch somewhere?
The good thing with this adapter is that you can use different mount lenses with a dedicated Leica M adapter. For instance, you can use a Contax/Yashica lens like the Zeiss Planar 50mm 1.4, which I use with this adapter on my Fuji X-T4, then mount the Planar into a a C/Y to Leica M adapter and then mount it to the Pronto adapter. Sounds complicated but it's not and it works very good. As long as you don't exceed the maximum 1.5lb weight this Pronto adapter can handle you will be fine.
