Edge-to-Edge Liquid Retina Display
The Liquid Retina display in the iPad Pro features wide color support, True Tone, and an anti-reflective coating for a natural, accurate viewing experience both indoors and out. It also supports ProMotion technology, which automatically adjusts the display's refresh rate, up to 120Hz, for smooth and responsive scrolling.
A12Z Bionic Chip
The Apple A12Z Bionic chip, built on 7nm technology, is designed to tackle complex tasks such as editing photos, creating 3D models, and more. Additionally, a Neural Engine chip works alongside the A12Z for advanced machine learning from photography to AR.
Face ID & Cameras
With the removal of the home button, the iPad Pro now utilizes its 7MP front-facing TrueDepth camera with Face ID for security and unlocking your device. It works in any position and enables you to use Apple Pay in apps as well as Animoji and Memoji in chats. At the rear is a 12MP camera, which supports 4K video, document scanning, and AR experiences, as well as a 10MP ultra-wide camera for a different perspective.
Apple Accessories
Built with over 100 magnets, the iPad Pro seamlessly connects to additional accessories. The Apple pencil can magnetically attach to the side of the iPad Pro for simultaneous pairing and charging. On the other hand, the magnets firmly secure the Smart Folio Keyboard in place and detach easily for alternate viewing modes.
USB Type-C
The USB Type-C connector has replaced the Lightning connector as a one-cable solution for a wide variety of connectivity options. It supports USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds for up to 10 Gb/s file transfers, an external 5K resolution display, and even other devices for sharing power.
Battery Life
Built with a 36.71 W lithium-polymer battery, the iPad Pro is rated to last for up to 10 hours while surfing the web on Wi-Fi, watching videos, or listening or music. Models utilizing cellular network data for these services will have around a nine hour battery life instead.

great device but could be better with more accessories for the available market of tablets.. good enough display to keep for several years and can act as a second monitor if needed for your remote Apple workstation if you like to add this

I am coming from a 10.9 iPad Pro 2nd 2017 9 (64GB) with the hard press home button. I am homebound and this stays at my beside. I wanted a larger screen to see things better. However, it is too heavy to hold up to read, it is too wide to hold in portrait and type a short text and there is no hard press home button to double click. I don't have the dexterity to swipe and hold to close apps or get back to home screen and the virtual home button is always in the way. So for now I am going to turn it into a graphics tablet for when I edit photos on my MBP. I reordered a second ipad pro 10.9 2017 but with 256 GB so i can store more apps on it.

Coming from a 2017 iPad Pro to this one. I ordered it after the 2021 iPad Pros were released. I realized that I didn't need all the bells and whistles on the M1 model but I did need all the standard iPad Pro features. Very relieved this model is still available. B&H is my GO TO source for buying. Ordering/Delivery was expedient- 5 stars. I am a decades long Apple-Mac User and with each year I grow more disappointed with paying more for products and services that are increasing more complex (Settings drive me batty) and force me to comply with what Apple thinks is best. I had to reset to factory 3 times and then set it up again because of sync issues with iMessages and Contacts. iOS 14.1 played havoc with displaying some sites and with some app settings. It's nearly impossible to find the same colorful style of lightweight covers for the 12.9 model as compared to my smaller 10.9 model. Seems companies focus only on users who want black, grey, blue or neutral with a pen holder and a keyboard. The screen is easy to see which is why I needed to get this size. I don't regret buying this larger one but its a too big and heavy to read in bed and play games. I use my older one for that. I use this one as a graphic tablet (replaces Wacom which no longer works on Catalina) and my 3D remodel app. I plan to use it for photo editing and perhaps creating Keynote presentations because both are hard for me to see on my smaller iPad Pro. I really wish Apple would let me order apps and log into sites without requiring Face ID or a passcode all the time. If i remove the passcode requirement then the iOS forces me to enter it for certain things. If I enable Face ID or a passcode then the iOS goes down a different decision tree of time-outs. I am homebound and disabled and it would be nice to just be able to use it when I want and not deal with Apple requirements of proving who I am before the iPad allows me to do the things I want to do on it when I want to do it.

B&H is always fast to ship and deliver things as promised if not even earlier. Pricing is always fantastic and consistently better than other online options. Very happy customer.

No, Final Cut Pro does not work on iPad Pro or any other iPad model. Final Cut Pro is an excellent video editing software that is available for Mac systems and not iOS devices.
