How do I adjust the round joint nearest the mic ...

How do I adjust the round joint nearest the mic mount? I can't get it to move at all.

Try loosening the triangular knob and that should allow the joint to move so you can position the mic mount as needed. Once you have it positioned as desired, then tighten the knob to keep it in place. If you are still having problems, you may want to try contacting the manufacturer directly. You can reach O.C. Looking to upgrade from my Elgato LP mic arm. Do you know if this mic arm will fit in the Elgato table mounting clamp?

The O.C. White ProBoom Ultima Gen2 Ultralow-Profile Adjustable Mic Boom Arm is not guaranteed to work with other brands of table clamp. To ensure the best results, the O.C. White clamp mount should be used.

How do I adjust the round joint nearest the mic mount? I can't get it to move at all. I don't mean the knob near the mic connector, but rather the piece with the round black circle on the outside at the other end of that segment

That joint is not adjustable. The angle of the mic would be adjusted with the locking screw.
