A modular way to make your C-stand more versatile, the Black Steel Grip Arm from Savage consists of a 40" stainless steel rod with male 3/8"-16 thread on each end and two grip heads that can be moved anywhere along the rod. Each grip head has an integrated gobo clamp for accessories or other stands with a large T-handle for tightening down on them. The clamp has a 0.3 to 1.4" range.

The rod is very sturdy and has a 1/4 inch thread on one end and a 3/8 inch thread on the other end. The clamps, both of which are easily removable, are reasonable quality some type of lightweight non-Ferris cast metal. Good for holding reflector or light to medium weight lamp. The combination makes it a good value.
