By using modeling instead of samples, it provides versatile timbres while imposing a low load on your system's resources.

SWAM Solo Trombones offers extensive real-time parameters such as dirtiness, attack tongue, pipe gesture, and mute control, which can be adjusted via external MIDI controllers or your DAW. It also features a built-in mixer with reverb and pan controls for enhancing the sound. SWAM Solo Trombones is compatible with macOS and Windows systems and supports AAX, Audio Units, VST, and VST3 plug-in formats.

SWAM Engine digitally handcrafted acoustic instruments are never a simple recording of notes via sample libraries, but rather a set of real virtual instruments based on their traditional counterparts. While a sample library repeats a prerecorded sound, SWAM Trombones are realized through modeling technology.

Control the expression of your virtual acoustic instruments, break the limitations of traditional samplers, and benefit from the organic consistency resulting from the endless expressive parameters that are unique to every live performance.

Five Virtual Trombones
SWAM Trombones includes five expressive and realistic virtual trombones—double bass trombone, bass trombone, tenor bass trombone, tenor trombone, and alto trombone. SWAM technology guarantees the same natural reactions as real instruments, letting you compose and arrange your jazz, orchestral pieces, or concertos utilizing powerful instruments with natural, fluid expression.
For Stage and Studio Production
Choose SWAM Trombones for composing, producing, or performing. Physical modeling allows all articulations typical of trombones to be reproduced in real time by acting on its main physical elements such as pipe length, breath pressure, and lip tension. Independent control of the slide allows soft glissandos as well as ones with typical overtone triggers. Regardless, you can always choose between slide or valve mode.

It was developed by Audio Modeling using SWAM Technology (Synchronous Waves Acoustic Modeling) through a combination of innovative performance techniques and concepts of physical and behavioral modeling. SWAM Trombones instruments don't include any samples and use very little storage space and RAM.

Real-time controllable via MIDI controllers, SWAM Trombones requires only the smallest footprint to create the perfect organic consistency resulting from the endless expressive parameters that are unique to every live performance.
