Does this item have SDI input output or HDMI? The pictures don't match the description.
Asked by: David
The NewTek Spark Plus I/O 4K has HDMI input and output and NDI output. For 3G-SDI you would want to consider the NewTek Spark Plus I/O SDI (SKU: NENSP3GIO) https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1556715-REG/newtek_fg_002903_r001_connect_spark_plus_sdi.html

There is no mention of the video bit-depth. What is it? Does it support HDR?
Asked by: Ariel
this product is an encoder therefore the video will get compressed to 8 bit h.264/h.265 when sent across the network. You can send in a 10 Bit HDR image if you like just be aware that the NDI encoding process will compress the image to 8 Bit

Has anyone measured latency of the SDI version vs the HDMI version on the same camera? Curious if the SDI version has significantly less delay.
Asked by: Thomas
No it does not. the delay from the camera to the Newtek Spark is almost non existent when compared to the delay that happens when converting a video signal to be sent across a network and the bandwidth limitations of said network. If you purchased both the SDI and HDMI versions and hooked them up to a cameras on the same network you should experience the same delay.
