THRONMAX S1 Overview

The S1 Caster Clamp-On Boom Stand offers a studio-grade design with internal springs and hidden cable management. The USB cable is threaded through the Caster Boom Stand's all-tube construction, so you don't have to deal with cable clutter.

Adjusting the Caster Boom Stand is both easy and quiet. All hinges are hand-tightened, so you don't need tools to adjust the boom arm. A full 360° rotation facilitates all manners of mic positions. An included C-clamp affixes the boom arm to your desk with ruggedness and stability.

Won't tighten enough

I bought this as a bundle with a dynamic mic, and it looked solid and impressive. But after using it for a while, I find myself frustrated by the joints. There is a heavy spring action which is supposed to be opposed by the tightening knob, but no matter how tight I make the joints, the arm wants to straighten or fall down, depending on the weight of the mic I'm using. I can't recommend this at all. Its a shame, it looks so much nicer than the average boom with exposed springs, etc.

Love it holds up really well, and the fact the cables are inside the boom arm helps with cable management.

Can I attach a Godox LR120 ring light instead of ...

Can I attach a Godox LR120 ring light instead of a mic? It appears that the attachment configuration will work? Adapter?

This arm is not meant to hold a light but it will fit the connector and weight but I can not be sure for about the size.
