Really Right Stuff BXT4-LS Reviews

A perfect fit for my fujifilm X-T4

No wiggling around with this l bracket. There is also leeway with the bracket to get to all the outlets one might need; no problem with replacing battery or cards. I am very pleased with this finely tuned bracket. I think it's well worth the expense.

Does what it is supposed to do.

As to be expected with RRS, this L bracket is solid and functional. It fits the camera perfectly.

Great Addition to the XT4 - for protection and function!

RRS makes great product - while a bit spendy they are top quality. I have had Fuji-made L brackets before but since there isn't one for XT4 yet - this RRS is the benchmark industry standard. Extra protection without too much extra weight (and some folks extend the vertical to make a bit of an L-handle.

The X-T4's design creates a trade-off

I love the X-T4, but its design was an obvious challenge for creating an L-bracket. The trade-off is that the opened touchscreen does not tilt up or down with the L-bracket in place, though the screen is fully articulating when the L-plate is removed. Sometimes I'll want the articulating touchscreen... sometimes I'll want vertical tripod mount.  This is going to take more monkeying around than any L-bracket I've used before. I am also concerned that the set screw may be prone to getting lost when the L-plate is removed in the field.

Very Sturdy, But Adds Bulk

I have purchased many RRS products over the years and they’re all fantastic. Generally exceptionally well designed and the build quality is always excellent, this product is no exception. I only wish that the opening in the vertical bracket that accommodates the flip-out screen was a bit large to allow for wider range of screen rotation. Also be aware that this bracket adds considerable bulk to what is otherwise a quite svelte little camera.

High quality, excellent design, high price

A good design for the X-T4 - the vertical plate can be moved both side to side (for cable clearance) and a small amount front to back (to allow the screen to open all the way at the expense of blocking the doors). There is a place to attach a Peak Design anchor on the right bottom side, and the magnetic Allen wrench storage is pretty slick, although why they include a chrome Allen key instead of black to blend in is beyond me. The only issue is the price.

When the camera is mounted vertically on the arca tripod head how big is the gap?
Asked by: Mary
Sorry, but the query is missing some information. Which particular gap measurement are you referring to? We were able to measure the cable-access portion and it measured 24.96mm / 0.98" with my vernier caliper. Aside from that, there's not really much else to measure as the L-bracket is made to fit standard arca-swiss clamps and has the same dovetail measurements as most other plates. I'd recommend reaching out over video-live chat so we can identify the gap in question!

can you use the articulating screen with the L bracket?
Asked by: Wayne
It is possible to articulate the screen with the bracket on, though you will have limited range of motion. You would need to remove the vertical part of the bracket to have full range of motion.
