FLM CP26 Overview

The CP26-Travel II 10X Carbon Fiber Series II Tripod from FLM is a 5-section support with a twist leg lock system. A simple turn disengages the leg locks, which extends the legs for the tripod to reach a maximum height of 54". This lightweight travel tripod has a load capacity of 26.4 lb, and is suitable for use with DSLRs, Mirrorless cameras, compact cameras, and more.

For low perspective shooting, the legs may be opened in multiple preset angles, allowing a minimum height of 2.1". Independent leg spread permits the CP26-Travel II to achieve level positioning on uneven terrain. The lightweight and durable carbon fiber tripod has a folded length of 17", yet weighs only 2.47 lb, making it easy to carry to any location. Threaded 1/4"-20 accessory sockets allow extension arms or studs to be mounted in order to attach lights, microphones, or other accessories.

Leg sections jammed, plastic inserts cracked and broken

I had issues with several leg sections jamming on me. The plastic inserts were cracked and broken on several of the sections. I only used the tripod three times and took good care of it. In the end, a $300 tripod ended up in the trash. Expensive lesson. I hope yours works out.

Beautifully made tripod. Quality through and through. I don't use a tripod often but spending a few dollars more for this quality is well worth it. I never heard of this brand before but after doing research it Was nothing but positive. Small and light but can carry a heavy load.

The FLM CP26-Travel II 10X Carbon Fiber Series II Tripod does not have a hook. However, it does have an eyelet for attaching a carabiner and hardware store S-hook.

Will any ball head fit this? I have a Sirui 20 that’s still fairly mint.

The FLM CP26-Travel II 10X Carbon Fiber Series II Tripod (B&H# FLCP26S4SV2) has a 3/8"-16 male thread for mounting most ball heads that have quick release plates. Both the Sirui E-20 Ball Head with TY-50E Plate (B&H# SISUE20) and the Sirui K-20II Ball Head (B&H# SIK20II) would be good choices to use with it for the most typical purposes.
