The AM-3 Magic Versa Arm from Leofoto is a multi-purpose tripod accessory mount that attaches to the leg spider of select Leofoto tripods, or other tripods and camera brackets with a 1/4"-20 receiver. The 6.7" Magic Versa Arm allows a light, microphone, monitor, smartphone, tablet, or even an additional camera to be affixed to a camera rig without the added bulk of a clamp. Each end of the AM-3 features a ball-and-socket joint that rotates 360°, and the center elbow joint locks in any position. The large, easy-to-grip center knob locks all three movements simultaneously for quick and easy setup and repositioning.

Leofoto AM-3 Reviews
Perfect addition!
The Leofoto AM-3 Magic Versa Arm Multi-Purpose Tripod Accessory Mount is exactly what I was looking for, now I can live stream my landscape photography outings and still have the freedom to concentrate on capturing the perfect shot. A sunset in real time to social media while simultaneously capturing the images that count. One of the best features of this accessory mount is the ability to adjust the position of my phone to get the perfect angle, without having to constantly take it on and off the tripod. Overall, I would highly recommend the Leofoto AM-3 Magic Versa Arm Multi-Purpose Tripod Accessory Mount to any creative photographer and videographer looking to streamline their workflow and capture breathtaking shots simultaneously.
compact and solidly built
I'm very happy with the AM-3 versa arm. It does a great job of connecting my phone mount to the accessory port on my Leofoto tripod. Loosen the single knob and you can adjust the position of the 2 arms as well as the 2 balls on the ends of the arms. Then tighten the knob to lock all adjustments in place. The hole through the longer silver threaded post makes it easy to tighten it into the tripod port using an allen key. It would have been a nice touch to include a typical thread adapter as the versa arm threads are 1/4 and the tripod has 3/8 threads … but they are inexpensive and I had several of them laying around anyway.
