Since this lens covers a APSC field of view, if I mount it on a micro 4/3 sensor, what will the equivalent field of view be (top to bottom). Will it basically show me what a 100mm would show in full frame? Trying to decide if I need the 50mm or the 35mm version of this lens for
Asked by: seyi
On a Micro Four Thirds sensor the top to bottom field of view would match a 100mm lens on a full frame sensor. The 35mm lens would likewise match a 70mm on a full frame.

What is the image circle?

What is the image circle?
Asked by: Zak
A lens' imaging circle is the size of the circle produced by a lens to create an image. As sensors are usually rectangular in shape, the imaging circle must be larger than the dimensions of the sensor in order to fully and evenly expose the sensor. Sirui does not specify the imaging circle size of the Sirui 50mm f/1.8 Anamorphic 1.33x Lens (MFT Mount), but they do indicate the imaging circle will cover an APS-C sensor, which is larger than the Four Thirds sensor.

If i use the metabones EF-m43 mount speed booster with a gh5 and this lens Sirui 50mm with ef mount with it still work correctly?
Asked by: Dennis
Because there is no current 50mm model of the Sirui 50mm f/1.8 Anamorphic 1.33x Lens with a Canon EF mount, this combination cannot be made. There is currently no EF-M to MFT speed booster, in regards to the EF-M version of the Sirui 50mm f/1.8 Anamorphic 1.33x Lens.

Asked by: Jamin
No, this lens will not go on the Lumix S5 because the camera has a Leica L mount and the lens has an MFT mount.
