Would this work to transfer from a Canon 50D dslr ...

Would this work to transfer from a Canon 50D dslr if a person had a high-speed USB 2.0 A-Male to Mini-B cable? My canon has the USB mini port.
Asked by: mike
Unsure. Normally a computer is required to serve as a gateway to transferring files to a any drive, be it on the computer itself OR an external USB drive plugged into the computer. I don't know if there is a camera, including your Canon, that can directly recognize a SSD plugged into it.

I'd like to connect this to a USB C 3.1 Gen 1 port on a PS5. Will it still be capable of read speeds up to 1050 mb/s?
Asked by: emmanuel
By definition, the USB 3.1 Gen 1 specification can only rated for transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps (gigabits per second) or 625 MBps (megabytes per second). MBps = megabytes per second Mbps = mega bits per second
