Compact and Secure Storage for Life On the Go
The titan gray Samsung 2TB T7 Portable SSD is a compact and secure storage solution that fits in the palm of your hand. Roughly the size of a few stacked credit cards, the T7 is equipped with 256-bit AES encryption and password protection, so users can rest assured knowing their data is safe. Moreover, with PCIe NVMe technology, the T7 offers users quick performance and little downtime with read and write speeds of up to 1050 MB/s and 1000 MB/s respectively. With a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port, it's also backward compatible with USB 3.0 and Type-A devices with an appropriate cable.
Lightweight and Durable Design
Boasting a slim and lightweight body, the T7 is designed for easy transport via a pocket-sized form factor. Roughly the size of a credit card and weighing in at just 2 ounces, this drive features a solid aluminum unibody construction that fits comfortably in the palm of your hand.

SSD stands for Solid State Drive, which means it's built with no moving parts. The hardware can be secured with an AES 256-bit encrypted password and is encased in a sturdy metal body that keeps data intact from falls of up to 6.6'.

Use the T7 without worrying about overheating. An advanced thermal solution uses Dynamic Thermal Guard technology to withstand and control heat, so the compact SSD stays at an optimal temperature even at fast speeds.

  • Gauge drive health and check longevity via TBW
  • Get benchmarks and optimize performance
  • The software works with Windows and Mac computers and is compatible with Windows 7 and higher and Mac OS X 10.10 and higher
  • You can also download the mobile app for Android smartphones and tablets running on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) and higher
Access Files Anytime, Anywhere

Can you edit 4k Raw video projects in Adobe Premier off this drive with no hiccups?
Asked by: Jonathan
While the theoretical transfer rate of up to 10 Gbps would allow for that, your computer must have USB 3.1/3.2 Gen 2 certified ports as well as a graphics card that can handle 4K editing in the RTX 2070/2080 class. For faster performance, consider a workflow with actual Thunderbolt 3 connectivity.
