ProGrade Digital 256GB UHS-II microSDXC Overview

The 256GB UHS-II microSDXC Memory Card with SD Adapter from ProGrade Digital features a storage capacity of 256GB and takes advantage of the UHS-II bus to support maximum read speeds of 250 MB/s and maximum write speeds of 130 MB/s. This card has also been designed with the V60 Video Speed Class rating, which guarantees minimum write speeds of at least 60 MB/s, allowing the card to be optimized for 4K, UHD, Full HD, and 3D video captures, as well as raw photos and rapid-fire bursts.

UHS-II cards achieve their speed through an extra row of pins and while this card has been designed for cameras that are UHS-II / V60 compatible, it may be used in devices that do not support UHS-II / V60. However, bear in mind that this card will then default to your device's speed class and bus rating, such as UHS-II and V30, which supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s, or UHS-I and U3, which also supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s. If your device does not support U3, this card is compatible with the U1 and Class 10 standards, each of which guarantee minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s.

Built for extreme conditions, ProGrade Digital's 256GB UHS-II microSDXC Memory Card with SD Adapter is able to withstand temperatures from -13 to 185°F, allowing you to take this card with you into extreme environments, such as snow and deserts. It is also resistant against x-rays and shock. Included is a microSD to SD adapter, which allows this card to be used in devices with full-sized SD slots.

Received the Micro SDXC Card, haven't used it yet until my upcoming vacation in a few more weeks. Hope it works well. Stephen.

It's inexpensive and early.

Purchase from Japan. It might be earlier than the price became low, and I also thought of shipping off.

I recently had a bad recording experience due to write speed. This card gives you all the speed you'll need.

Bought these to make use of the S&Q mode on my A7M4, so far no issue with the card. Minor - Complaint The only con I have is the adapter feel a bit flimsy compare to my Samsung PRO MicroSD Adapter(UHS-I), don't know if this an issue with UHS-II adapters, also the toggle lock switch is a bit loose, and rattles.

Big storage, tiny card.

These things are tiny but capable. My recent purchase was the first time I got a micro card to use in my drone. Make sure to get the SD adaptor_ that way you can download contents to just about any device and since the micros are so small they ad some security_the SD adaptor is about 4x the size of the micro so its much easier to find if you drop or misplace it. It also enables you to carry the micro cards in a card wallet that you'd also use to carry any SD cards. A must have combo.

Good, But awful.

The memory card is good, and I cant complain. But the adapter is just awful quality. It craked open. I didn't even used it more than 5 times. and it broke. Its awfully made. If you need the adapter to use this, dont waste your money.

The ProGrade Digital 256GB UHS-II microSDXC Memory Card with SD Adapter BH #PRMSD256GBPB is a good microSD card and would work in your mobile device but it is a bit more than what you need to record 4K on your smartphone.

can I use this in a Gopro?
Asked by: jazmin
Use one each in my GoPro Hero 5 Black and Hero 6 Black. If you have the USB 3.1 Gen 2 connector on your PC (guess MAC has that as well?), I recommend getting the ProGrade reader(s) as well. This did come with the Micro to Standard SDXC adapter, and since I also have two each of the SDXC size (UHS-II), I bought the Dual Slot SDXC reader and use the adapter with mine. Works great, and really fast. FStoppers on Youtube has two videos on using the SDXC cards and adapters.

Is the SD adapter also UHS-II ?

Is the SD adapter also UHS-II ?
Asked by: Nishant
Unless we can see the back side of the SD adapter, with the two (2) rows of contact pins that all UHS-II SDXC cards have, we can't tell if it is UHS-I or UHS-II. It may be compliant with UHS-II, but that not does not necessarily mean it is UHS-II. From what I see in the product photos, only the Micro card is UHS-II. Only someone who has opened the package could tell for sure as there is no indication of the adapter's UHS classification. BHPV has other brands offering a UHS-II Micro SDXC memory card that have the product description of the SD adapter as a "SD UHS-II Adapter. It has the second row of pins and will be vastly faster than UHS-I. It may be that BHPV just needs to update the product description to "includes a microSD UHS-II to SD UHS-II adapter". That would eliminate any confusion. Kirk or another STAFF, please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!

Does anyone have any experience between this card and a DJI Mavic Mini 2?
Asked by: Jhosse
This particular card has no speed advantage over UHS-I microSD cards due to the DJI Mini 2 having a UHS-I slot. However if you ever upgraded from the Mini 2, it would be required for the higher end drones like the Air 2S or Mavic Pro family.
