Sonos Sub Gen 3 Reviews
Awesome!
My son didn't think I could connect this subwoofer to our Sonos sound bar in less than 15 minutes. I took the challenge and did it in 12 minutes! So easy-and the sound is so much better! Absolutely love it!
Recommended. HT Upgrade
HT has been a journey. Started with the Playbase, then moved to the Arc. Added a Gen 2 Sub, then a second sub (Gen 3) and finally rear channels (One SLs). The move from the Playbase to the Arc was a big step and clearly audible. Adding the first sub was an improvement, but not earth shattering. Adding the second sub gave movie theater level sound to my HT setup. The Gen 3 was easy to setup and I have not had any issues with it disconnecting from my system which happened with the Gen 2 sub. I'd highly recommend starting with the Arc and 2 subs for HT. The rear channels can be added later. Overall, no complaints
By far one of the most powerful subs I have ever used
Industry standard, yet so user friendly. Sonos bring expert level sound to the average user. Takes all the technical mambo jambo and repackages it into and easy-to use, minimal interface that works flawlessly. The subwoofer is just phenomenal, the power, the punch, the response, the bass....you name it. It's all round great.
Excellent addition
adds richness to the arc with out the booming usually associated tin bass speakers
New sub
Just purchased this product and so far so good. Easy setup and connection, good base sound which supplements my Arc very nicely. Although pricey we like the added based for music and TV watching.
Amazing sound
I purchased the Arc unit for my great room tv and as a music player. The sound was amazing to say the least. A few weeks ago I bit the bullet and purchased the base unit. The transformation was amazing. The Arc's sound came to life. It was if the Arc was freed from providing bass sounds and the other ranges of music really came alive. A definite improvement. The bass unit is across the room and behind an easy chair. I don't know how, but deep base sounds come from the area of the Arc unit. A definite improvement overall and a wise investment
Superior sub in the market
Cant say enough great things about the superb sound quality and ease of setup. Paired nicely with my Sub Gen 2, beam and play:one system.
Can you say boom?
Use Sub in conjunction with Sonos Arc and it immerses the room with incredible sound. Great for watching action movies, listening to music. Now if I can convince my wife to get a larger TV...
