Sonos Sub Gen 3 Reviews
Still as good
I've had a gen 2 sub for several years in another room. My impressions of the gen 3 are as favorable as the previous model. There may be small differences, but to me they sound the same. I'm a fan of Sonos products and this one is great, albeit a touch expensive.
Perfect companion to Sonos Bea
It's pricey but worth it. My Beam(Gen 2) sounds better with the Sub attached to it. The Beam focuses solely on mids and highs now and sounds so much crisper and cleaner. All bass frequencies are now routed to the sub and they as well are crisp and clean. The room is filled with amazing bass, but not in an annoying way like when someone pulls up next to you in a car that sounds like their trunk is about to rattle off. This bass is tight and professional..perfect for both movies and music.
Great Sub/Bass
I own 4 Sonos 1 speakers and added this sub to the system......made all the difference in the world.
Amazing sound
I purchased the Sonos Beam 2 after careful research and advise from the team at B&H. The sound was amazing but missing a little when we were listening to music. I called to bother them one more time. They recommended the Sonos gen 3 sub woofer to enhance the sound. If you like really good bass, the Gen 3 is definitely for you. Our sound quality while watching TV and listening to music is truly amazing now. We love our new Sonos system and the team at B&H.
Sounds great & wireless
I use for outdoor music with my motor home, & movies sounds like surround sound
eArc connected with Sonos Arc
I previously had the Sonos Playbar connected via optical with a Gen2 Sub, which was already great. I am not sure why it is better but it is safe to assume all aspects of the connection and devices are just clearly superior than before.
Great addition to Sonos system
Transforms the audio quality of the Sonos system
Great addition to the Sonos-verse
Only regret is that I held off on adding this to my setup for far too long. Should have bought this a year ago. Have this paired to an Amp driving mono ceiling speakers in an open concept living/ dining/ kitchen area and it makes a world of difference.
