The Pro Co Sound W.I.E.M.S. is a wireless in-ear monitoring system that's simple to use and provides musicians and performers with reliable, low-latency, 24-bit/48 kHz digital in-ear monitoring for concerts and events.

The system includes a transmitter that accepts a line-level monitor mix via its balanced XLR connection. The transmitter uses a low-latency (under 5.6 ms) analog to digital converter and sends the digital audio via a 5.8 GHz wireless frequency to the bodypack receiver, worn by the talent. The receiver offers a volume control knob and 3.5mm output jack to drive a wide variety of in-ear headphones and earbuds, providing hands-free, high-quality sound monitoring for live, on-stage performers.

The transmitter and receiver arrive pre-paired, so all you have to do is top off the internal rechargeable batteries for two hours, turn-on the components, and you're ready to go. An AC adapter and Y-cable with micro-USB connectors for the components are included.

The system offers a maximum line-of-sight range of 98' and will operate for between 6 to 8 hours from a single charge—the transmitter can even be used while charging. The 5.8 GHz band is far away from potential cell phone interference, but the system provides four preset frequency options to choose from, should you encounter a problem. Alternatively, the four available channels allow you to operate up to four W.I.E.M.S pairs on stage at once.
