Bid farewell to cramped components with the roomy Define R6 USB-C Mid-Tower Case in black from Fractal Design. Intended to provide a modular layout and adequate cooling, this case supports E-ATX motherboards up to 11.22" wide, as well as ATX, micro-ATX, and mini-ITX motherboards. In addition to a dedicated, removable 5.25" bracket and six 2.5/3.5" drive bays, two additional bays hold 2.5" drives and can both mount either behind the motherboard tray or on top of the PSU shroud. Of the nine expansion slots, two are vertical, and the Define R6 USB-C in its standard configuration supports GPUs up to 17.32" long and 6.10" wide. This case also supports ATX power supplies up to 11.81" long and CPU coolers up to 7.28" high.
The Fractal Design Define R6 USB-C sports up to nine fan mounts, depending on the size of the fans installed. Three 140mm Dynamic X2 GP-14 fans come preinstalled, with two at the front and one at the rear of the case. Users can add additional fans for increased airflow and can choose between a standard or open layout to fit different fan sizes. Or, users can take advantage of liquid cooling and install a radiator up to 360 or 420mm in a standard or open layout, respectively. Utilizing a steel frame and side panels, this case features sound dampening materials to reduce noise. Both side panels feature a toolless push-to-lock mechanism. A front I/O panel also incorporates two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, and a single USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port. Individual 3.5mm audio input and output ports are also present.
