Besides user-programmable presets, the P300c has 15 special effects including cop car, lightning, paparazzi, candle, and more.

All of these adjustments can be made locally on the unit or remotely via a console, thanks to the P300c's built-in DMX, or with wireless control of all aspects of the light from a smartphone using the Sidus Link app. The P300c is ready for worldwide use, thanks to its 100 to 240 VAC power supply but it can also run on 24 to 48V batteries when AC power is unavailable.

Is there a V-mount battery option? If so what battery are recommended?
    Asked by: Alberto
The Nova P300c is not directly compatible with V or Gold Mount batteries, and instead has a 24-48V DC input with a 4-pin XLR connector. As a fixture with a maximum power draw of 360W, this would require up to 15A of continuous power draw at 24V or 7.5A at 48V. The power source can be anything from a large block battery that can output a compatible voltage at the required amperage, or a battery adapter or power station that delivers between 24-48V. The Aputure 2-Bay Battery Power Station will accept 2x 14.4V V or Gold Mount batteries and output 48V DC, which can then be used to power the Nova P300c.

How good would this light be to evenly light a white cyc wall with both bright white light and to also wash it with desired color? Is it bright enough to still have a bold color with some spill from key and fill lights? Would you use it with or without the softbox in this case?
    Asked by: Jeff
The Aputure Nova P300c RGB LED Light Panel is very bright with a rating of 9,000 lux at 3.3' (120°, 5500K). Depending on the size of the background you will need more than one light. A softbox will spread the light more and make it softer. So that is a good option. As for blead from other lights. Any light can be an issue if you are hitting the background with other light sources and do not what that to show.

Will these be quiet enough for studio use? I would be using 6 of them.
    Asked by: David
Yes, while it features active cooling (i.e. a fan), it's quiet enough if not as quiet as the fan of an Arri Skypanel. In the menu, you can set the fan to "Force" and thereby keep it on all of the time, or to "Auto" so that it will minimize use of the fan and its velocity.
