A unique zoom covering ultra-wide to short portrait-length fields of view, the Panasonic Lumix S 20-60mm f/3.5-5.6 is a sleek and versatile lens designed for full-frame L-mount mirrorless cameras. The distinct range of focal lengths is also complemented by flexible focusing capabilities, which permit working with subjects as close as 5.9" with a 0.43x magnification for near-macro performance. In terms of optics, the lens incorporates a series of aspherical, high refractive index, and low dispersion elements to control a variety of aberrations and realize a high degree of clarity and sharpness. A fluorine coating has been applied to the front element to reduce smudging and make it easier to clean and then lens also features a weather-sealed design for working in harsh environmental conditions. Additionally, suiting both photo and video applications, a stepping motor is featured, which affords fast, precise, and near-silent autofocus performance.

Panasonic Lumix S 20-60mm f/3.5-5.6 Reviews
It's a solid quality Lens, but not my favorite.
As an entry level lens for the S5, not bad, but it takes a while to autofocus, and not the best for macro or close-up shots. The 12-70 on the GX8 was IMO a better lens.
Great lens for the Sigma fp
Not quite the quality feel and look of a Sigma L mount lens, but the usefulness of 20-60mm and compact size and light weight is just a great all round lens for the fp.
Good but noisy
This is a great lens if used for outdoor wide angle shots. But indoor, its complete waste. Extremely noisy and slow in terms of autofocus.
VERY good lens on the Leica SL2!
This little lens is wonderful on the Leica SL2! Great travel lens for city touring which is what I bought it for. Also very good near-macro for flowers and insects!
Better than a 'kit' lens
While the specs may seem like a slow aperture kit lens, it is enjoyable to use. I like the form factor - compact and lightweight. The build quality is excellent, and you get much wider at 20mm, than a typical standard range zoom lens. The lens is sharp and I haven't found much distortion to talk about. I took off one star as the aperture does push me into higher ISOs. I typically prefer fast primes.
Nice value and quality
Excellent lens wide as 20mm great auto focus
Very Good Images. Excellent Value.
I had this lens once before when I owned a Leica CL. Sold the CL and sold this lens. Now I have a Leica SL2 and bought this lens to pair with the SL2. I like this lens because it is reasonably well made for an all-plastic lens. The weight is well balanced on my SL2. Best of all images are very nice. Nice sharpness and contrast. Accurate color. In all honesty the sharpness and contrast is not as good as the Leica 24-70 L lens or the 24-90 L lens. However at a substantially reduced cost and my mostly OK Photoshop skills, I can more than compensate for this lens being a 7 out of 10 vs. a 9.5 out of 10 for the much more costly Leica lenses (each of which I have tried).
It's just ok...
Great lens, the 20-60mm if very use full and has great focusing abilities.
