The black DPA 4097 CORE Micro Shotgun is a professional, multipurpose, weather-resistant microphone well suited to interviews, dialog, and voice-overs for video, DIY journalism, indie film, and broadcast applications. The mic weighs only .35 oz and features a built-in shockmount and 4" gooseneck allowing for a wide range of positioning options on set—it's lighter and more flexible than traditional boom mics making it easier to interview subjects from a distance. The small footprint also makes it exceptionally good as a directional plant mic, delivering great audio from tight spots.

what is the clip that the man in video used to hold the mic onto his cloth?
In the video, the DPA Microphones 4097 CORE Micro Shotgun Microphone is attached to a boompole at first, and then it looks like he had clipped the mic and mini boom to his clothing using a clip like the DPA Microphones CM4099 - Clamp Mount for 4099 Instrument Microphone (B&H # DPCM4099).

does it comes with xlr?
does it comes with xlr?
No, the DPA 4097 does not include an XLR adapter. The 4097 has a built-in shockmount and 4" gooseneck that terminates with a MicroDot connector. The optional XLR adapter shown in the 4th photo is the DPA Microphones DAD6001 MicroDot to 3-pin XLR Adapter with Belt Clip (B&H # DPDAD6001BC). The DAD6001 can be attached directly to the MicroDot connector at the bottom of the gooseneck (as shown in the 4th photo) and if you want to add a cable between the gooseneck and DAD6001, you could attach the DPA Microphones CM2218B00 Heavy Duty Miniature Microdot Extension Cable - 5.9', Black (B&H # DPCM2218B00) which has MicroDot connectors on both ends.

How does it compares to 4017c or 4018c sound, sensitivity, and noise rejection wise?
This mic is very similar to that of the 4017 mic in terms of sound quality, mic sensitivity, dynamic range, and SPL. Excellent piece for outdoor, low profile booming.
