I love this camera ! the 12 bit ZRAW is amazing internal raw. I never upgraded to new firmware so i still have the good old RAW ! Very powerful cinema camera and can't wait to get the zcame2F6 pro. Thank you B&H and DHL , i got mine during COVID. Purchased directly form B&H online and had it shipped to me in Africa via DHL.

Great camera. I may have to get one for myself!

I enjoyed with using Z cam cameras , no over heat while filming the birds nest , i can use the split files with that function , very high dynamic range , nice color , compact vcamera , frame rats And being a camera that gives these advantages and with its low price, there must be drawbacks such as: lack of an easily readable screen, weak focus, fewer dedicated buttons, no angle shutter

So far, so good.

Expectations exceeded. Solid construction. Very well designed and engineered: something you realize when using it. I love how modular it is. Using IOs devices as monitors is incredibly useful: an iPhone attached to the rig can do for hand held recording, while an iPad in your desktop can help you record yourself and control just about everything. The picture quality is delightful. Easy to power via a standard AC brick, so no need to worry about batteries for long interview sessions. When requiring batteries, using big ones can get you all the juice you could possibly need. I record on a Samsung T7: not only cheap for storage, but also very convenient for editing without loading more heavy data in your computer). I have really no complains whatsoever: it is a great camera I have been able to setup for every scenario I have required.

Excellent versatility but, okay overall

The E2-M4 is a great camera if you look at it as an overall package, it has excellent codecs, so you have the choice. However, don't buy this camera thinking that you can use it only with the body, you will need to spend at least $1500 more to make it useable. The autofocus is horrible, don't expect anything out of it, it is very slow so, unless you move very slowly, it won't work, BUT who would use an autofocus anyway? It's a cinema camera. I did some test with the image quality, and it's superb except that you always have some grain in the picture even at the lowest ISO, I find it a bit distracting. In the end, I don't think you can go wrong with this camera but if you are someone that wants autofocus look somewhere else like the Sony like or Fujifilm.

I love it !!!

Hey there, is it possible to shoot V-log when in H.264 8Bit?

V-log is proprietary to Panasonic cameras therefore it can not shoot V-log. Z-Cam has their own log format called Z-log2 and if you like you can shoot in Z-Log2 while recording H.264 8-Bit footage.

How do you connect a phone to use as a monitor?
Asked by: Rankinstein
On can connect to the Z CAM E2-M4 Professional 4K Cinema Camera (Micro Four Thirds) using an iPhone with the Z Camera App. One first needs to make sure Wi-Fi is enabled on the camera. One also needs to install the App on the iPhone. Then connect to the camera from the iOS device with that Wi-Fi ID, and the default password of the Wi-Fi is 12345678. One should then be able to control and monitor the camera from the App.
