ZOTAC GTX 1650 OC Overview

  • 1Description

With the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce GTX 1650 OC GDDR6 Graphics Card, you'll be able to play your favorite PC games in Full HD 1080p resolution. Based on the Turing architecture, this GPU provides improvements in performance, memory bandwidth, and power efficiency over its predecessor, the high-performance Pascal architecture. The GTX 1650 utilizes 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM.

The front panel of the card features a variety of outputs including DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0b, and DVI-D Dual-Link. The GTX 1650 is not just about high-resolution gaming; Computationally intensive programs can utilize the GPU's 896 cores to accelerate tasks using CUDA or other APIs. For cooling, ZOTAC implemented a single fan cooler.

NVIDIA GPU Boost 4.0
Boosts the card's clock speed in real-time based on the target temperature. If the card is running below the set target temperature, GPU Boost 4.0 will increase the clock speed to improve performance. The target temperature can be reset depending on your preference so you can have the card run more quietly for everyday tasks and older games and run at full tilt during intense high-resolution gaming sequences.
NVIDIA Ansel
With Ansel, gamers can compose the gameplay shots they want, pointing the camera in any direction and from any vantage point within a gaming world. They can capture screenshots at up to 32 times the screen resolution and then zoom in where they choose without losing fidelity. With photo-filters, they can add effects in real-time before taking the shot and they can capture 360-degree stereo photospheres for viewing in a VR headset or Google Cardboard.
CUDA
NVIDIA's parallel computing platform enables an increase in computing performance by harnessing the parallel nature of GPU processing. CUDA-compatible applications can assign intensive parallel computing tasks such as real-time video rendering to the GPU to process, which frees up the computer's CPU to run other tasks.
G-SYNC Ready
When used with a monitor that has G-SYNC hardware installed, the monitor's refresh rate will sync and lock with the graphics card's output frame rate. Establishing this sync removes tearing and stuttering which can result from conventional fixed-screen refresh rates. This is especially important for gaming in stereoscopic 3D. An additional benefit of G-SYNC is reduced lag so gamers will benefit from the improved command response time as well.

ZOTAC GTX 1650 OC Reviews

Great size, easily fits in case

While my case can support larger video cards, I try to avoid a crowded case. Love this smaller sized card. Performance has been great and as expected for this model. replaces a GTX 670. Performance difference obvious.

I’ve been trying to find a decent card for my wife’s PC as we’ve been playing a lot of Red Dead online lately and the gtx1050 2gb she had would only allow for low settings at a low resolution it was horrible, with card pricing being through the roof lately I was surprised to find this at $230 so took the chance on it. Red Dead now runs just under max settings at a more than playable FPS and at 1080p too! It draws power purely from the slot so need no extra power cable and works flawless with her 320w . It runs quiet and we’re both more than happy with its performance, it’s giving my RX580 8gb a run for its money! Borderlands 3 runs at full ultra settings at around 35-40fps at 1080p . Her CPU is an old I7 from memory the 3550 3.2 ghz

i purchased this to replace a silent evga gtx 750 ti which turned out to be a big mistake now i have to turn the volume up on the tv just to be able to listen to my show. i tried using afterburner, but it doesn't work. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling nvidia drivers, the most recent one, and that didn't work. right now the fan is running at 100% at 24 centigrade. it's in the middle of winter. my room isn't heated. the fan shouldn't even be on. the chances are good that i have a defective card, which is not good for me. i should have stayed with evga. i would like to have uploaded an audio file, but the option is just to add a photo

Used with PC for desktop photo editing, I love the quiet fan

I picked this to go with my EIZO monitor, 1920 x 1920, which the stock driver in my 1yr old Dell W10 PC would drive but only at 30Hz, which isn't fast enough to keep up with a mouse cursor, so I needed 60Hz which this Zotac does. B&H had stock and shipped quickly, Fedex delivered on time, the card installed in my PC without a hitch, the drivers updated OK, and the BIG DEAL for me was fan noise, would it be quiet enough? It was, it is really quiet, barely audible over the PC power supply fan sound. I love it when everything goes right :-)

doesn't allow me to update or edit the update is that i sent this card in under rma, and zotac determined it was unserviceable, and issued a replacement the card wasn't just loud, it left artifacts behind so zotac replaced it. i couldn't comment further, as i have not had the opportunity to install it; it would be nice to be able to leave a review without a rating
