The Lume Cube Webcam Light Kit BH #LUVC2 should be able to attach to a Mac or Surface Pro no problem. The computer they use on the Images is a Macbook Pro. The Surface Pro has a similar texture.

Yes, Suction cup unscrews and there is a screw mount on bottom and side. Retain plastic to preserve stickyness base of suction cup. Recommend Joby Telepod 325 to hold camera on a desk. Plug in the light into a USB power source if using it for a protracted period of time.

I purchased this several months ago. I hooked it up, stuck it on my computer--it worked. However, now it shows fully charged, but I cannot make it turn on. Is there an instruction sheet? I have fiddled with the button and the dial and get nowhere.
mine works but you need to hold the teal colored button for more than a moment. I personally don't think it is that effective to help with my video conferences so I have put it aside.
