Presenting impressive reach in a relatively compact design, the Leica L-mount 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Contemporary lens, from Sigma, is a versatile telephoto zoom mixing a hand-holdable design with apt optical performance. A series of low dispersion glass elements are used to achieve high clarity and color accuracy throughout the zoom range, and to suppress chromatic aberrations and color fringing. Complementing the optics is intuitive handling, in which a stepping motor delivers fast, near-silent autofocus performance along with fine-tuned manual focus control. Additionally, four stop-effective optical image stabilization helps to reduce the appearance of camera shake for sharper handheld shooting and this 100-400mm is also compatible with the optional TS-111 Tripod Socket for steady shooting atop a tripod or monopod.
- L-Mount Lens/Full-Frame Format

Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Reviews
Great lens for the price
good lens compared to the price
nice lens not so heavy, the picture is sharp and out of focus is beautiful, stabilizer works fine, maybe with tripods would be better
I use this for wildlife photography with an A7III and the autofocus is fast and the photos are sharp even at 400m
Great lense 4 wildlife photos
We bought this while in Canada, traveling to Alaska. B&H overnighted it to Alaska and it arrived in Valdez on day 2. The photos we took are amazing! Great lense for a great price!
Produces great images
I purchased this for my son for his college graduation gift. He has been using it on a Sony A6000 and is producing great images with it! Now I want one for my A7III.
Very sharp. Won't have to spend $1500 more for comparable camera brand lens.
Great lens for all subjects
I am not good with reviews. This lens takes beautiful, sharp pictures. Focus is easy in either manual or auto. It does have some weight to it but not as bad as some of the bigger, older lenses. Price was great. Recommend this lens for beginners as well as pros
Great lens. Great value.
I'm an enthusiast level wildlife and landscape photographer. This lens is fantastic for daylight shooting. More than enough for my needs. Nice build quality and excellent warranty. Enough speed to stop birds in flight with Sony autofocus and good light available. Won't overcome powerfully backlit subjects. Enough reach for my needs. Excellent autofocus performance. Very good bokeh. Nice colors. If you don't get paid for your work you don't need any more than this. Even if you do get paid, you should consider this and buy other gear with the savings.
