Even more useful than expected
After my experience with Nanlite's handy LitoLite SC, I decided to give this light a try. It turned out to be a great addition to my kit. First of all, it provides a simple setup for anyone using an iPhone in a pinch. You can easily mount this light on a stand (I use a Manfrotto 5001 B), attach an iPhone and you're ready to shoot using the light's built-in battery. The iPhone mount can be left on the light (loosen bracket and turn sideways) and stowed in the included carry case, which has multiple compartments for the light, AC adapter, etc. The quality of the light is excellent, and it's always a bonus to be able to dial in the color (bi-color) according to existing light and the scenario. Construction is solid. It's plastic, but tough and lightweight. I recently used this light as a fill as well -- always nice to have options right. I love this light and recommend it.
Awesome, portable ring light, great battery life
I've enjoyed this Nanlite (Halo 14U) 14 LED Ring Light for a couple weeks now and have been using it both personally and professionally. With a built-in battery, it sets up fast for video calls and also has adjustable controls (color temp and brightness) and a power adapter that make it great for my professional work. The included mount makes it easy to position a cell phone inside the ring, and the entire ring light fixture mounts easily on existing light stands. It's a very light weight piece, and with the included travel case, I'll be frequently tossing it in with my other gear as one of my go-to lights for interviews and digital content production. Really great piece of portable equipment. Highly recommend it.
