SoftRaid software can be used with the OWC 16TB ThunderBlade Thunderbolt 3 RAID Array to remove the RAID family and yield JBOD volumes.

Unfortunately no, the 2010 Mac Pro lacks a Thunderbolt port and you cannot add one like you could with USB or eSATA.
