I have not had this drive long enough to really tell how long it will last but so far so good. I was disappointed that I missed that the app used to unlock and manage the drive was only available on apple devices. I bought an iPod touch and that did the trick. The Android app has been released and all is well. Not a bad device if you can manage the cost.

Can this device be use unlocked and no app require, like any other external memory? It is nice to have a locking feature, however I do not wish to have to use an app on a phone or computer to access and use this device. I really like the write/read speeds and have the choice to turn off completely the security feature. Thank you for your help.
