Intended for enterprise-level applications, this 10-bay NAS enclosure sports a 3.4 GHz Intel Xeon E-2224 quad-core CPU and 8GB of DDR4 RAM. Memory can be extended up to 64GB, while two M.2 2280 SSD bays allow users to install cache drives. 8GB of eMMC memory is also present for caching data. Supporting RAID 0, 1, 10, 5, 6, JBOD and Single Disk modes, this enclosure's bays accept 2.5 or 3.5" SATA III SSDs or HDDs. A 10 Gigabit and three 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports provide networking connections, while additional accessories can be connected using a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port on the front panel, or two Gen 2 Type-A ports on the rear panel.
The ASUSTOR AS7110T boasts read and write speeds up to 1181 and 1178 MB/s over 10 Gigabit Ethernet, or up to 848 and 847 MB/s using all three 2.5 Gigabit Etherenet ports. AES 256-bit encryption helps to prevent unauthorized access to and breaches of sensitive business data, while a Kensington Lock slot allows users to physically secure this NAS enclosure. Operating on 100 to 240 VAC using a 350W external power supply, the Lockerstor 10 stays cool thanks to two 120mm system fans. In addition to an AC adapter and power cord, this NAS comes with three RJ45 network cables, a 10-Gigabit networking cable, two M.2 thumbscrews, and screws for securing 2.5 or 3.5" drives. The ASUSTOR Lockerstor 2 AS7110T runs on the ADM 3.5 operating system and is compatible with Windows XP and later and Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012, and 2016. It is also compatible with host computers running Mac OS X 10.6 and later, as well as machines using UNIX, Linux, and BSD.

AD + ACL
ADM features built-in Windows AD support. Once an ASUSTOR NAS has been successfully added to a Windows AD domain, AD users will then be able to use their own AD accounts to log in to and access the NAS. Windows AD support combined with ACL allows IT professionals to use the familiar Windows user experience to quickly configure shared folder access rights for users and groups on an ASUSTOR NAS. Batch Creation of ADM Accounts
Via ADM's batch creation function, you can create multiple regular sequential user accounts, such as student groups or team IDs. With regards to irregular non-sequential account creation, you can enter account data into a text file using the .txt or .csv extension, and then import it into ADM to create accounts.
LDAP Client Support
LDAP, also known as Lightweight Directory Access Protocol is mainly used for unified management of accounts and passwords. Using LDAP technology can more efficiently manage user authentications or computer resource permissions across the enterprise. Snapshot Center allows ASUSTOR NAS devices to utilize Btrfs and iSCSI volumes to take snapshots of the information inside a NAS. Snapshot Center supports up to 256 snapshots of a volume and
can be done every five minutes, creating a backup that can be restored easily if data is damaged or lost. MyArchive now supports Btrfs and snapshots. Btrfs for MyArchive supports snapshots and version history to help protect against accidental deletions or modifications.
