A Must for Shooting Vertical

It works and feels great! I had one on my 5D Mark IIIs and it's a must for shooting vertical. I never put an extra battery as when they're low you'd have to have 2 spares $$$ and for weight reduction as I have a heavy rig! I have a ProMedia Gear Boomerang Flash Bracket with a Flashpoint Xplorer 100 Pro with a Flashpoint transmitter on it. Plug I hide an Apple AirTag where the 2nd battery goes.

Works and feels great. Adds some weight but I like the extra grip. Must have if you like to shoot in portrait mode.

Having shot on big body cameras for over 25 years professionally, moving into the mirrorless space I needed to have a larger feeling camera body so this absolutely helps with that. Also having extra battery capacity is very helpful. All the controls works just as well as the controls on the actual camera body. Works great

I was always frustrated trying to contort my fingers, hands, and wrist to take vertical images, with this grip my photo outings are much more enjoyable ,especially when using long heavy zoom lenses, I love this grip!

Since the R5 Mirrorless camera runs through batteries having this attachment to double the battery life to me is a must have, and it works excellently.

A must for mirrorless vertical shooters

My Canon R6 eats batteries, so having the additional battery is just one reason to get this. I shoot a lot of vertical shots and having the vertical release button is also a good option. If someone like Vello makes one I would have probably gotten the less expensive option but the true Canon one is the only choice at the moment. I've had aftermarket grips before and never had an issue.

Must have for mirrorless

One thing I noticed immediately about my R6 was its tendency to burn through batteries in comparison to my Rebel T7. This solves that problem immediately. It also makes the camera easier to hold too. Much to my surprise even with two batteries inside it didn't add much weight to my R6 and still fit easily in my Ruggard camera bag. A winner all around!

I didn't aware its warranty as I use in Hong Kong, I rarely heard battery grip has issues even with more than 100,000 shots so I do not think warranty is an matter.
