DZOFilm Pictor 20-55mm T2.8 Super35 Parfocal Zoom Lens (PL Mount and EF Mount)
Key Features
  • Maintains Focus Throughout Zoom Range
  • Near-Zero Breathing
  • Swappable PL Mount; Canon EF Included
  • 16-Blade Iris
A parfocal cine lens, the DZO Pictor 20 to 55mm T2.8 Super35 Parfocal Zoom Lens features a relatively fast maximum aperture of T2.8 with an aperture range of T2.8 to T22. As you would expect from a cinema-style zoom, the lens is parfocal, meaning it holds focus throughout the zoom range. The internal focus design with floating elements virtually eliminates focus breathing. It covers a Super35 image circle, comes standard with an interchangeable PL mount, and includes an EF mount.

Is this compatible with a Metabones speedbooster? For example, a PL to Fuji X (0.71x)? The rear element looks like it protrudes quite a lot.
Asked by: Matt
It is not. This lens only covers a Super35/APS-C sized sensor. You would need a lens that covers a full frame sensor for a Speed Booster.

The DZOFilm Octopus Lens Adapter (PL to Sony E), BH #DZOADPLEBLK, would be a good option for an adapter to mount the DZOFilm Pictor 20-55mm T2.8 Super35 Parfocal Zoom Lens (PL Mount and EF Mount) to the Sony FX30 Digital Cinema Camera.

My ef mount on my bmpcc6k doesn't lock with this lens. Does anyone else have this problem?

When replacing the PL mount with the EF mount, the locating pins must be lined up. Find the locating pin on the EF mount and align it with the pin on the lens.
