Would this be compatible with Z macro lenses like ...

Would this be compatible with Z macro lenses like the Meke 85 mm?
Asked by: William
As of the time/date of this reply, the Nikon Z Teleconverter TC-2x is only compatible for use with the NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S Lens. The Nikon Z Teleconverter TC-2x is not compatible for use with third-party lenses, and would not be compatible for use with the Meike MK-85mm f/2.8 Macro Lens for Nikon Z; it will not physically fit on the lens. Attempting to connect the Nikon Z Teleconverter TC-2x to the Meike MK-85mm f/2.8 Macro Lens for Nikon Z may damage the front optical element on the teleconverter, the rear optical element on the Meike MK-85mm f/2.8 Macro Lens, or both, and would not be covered by either brand's warranty.

No it does not. According to Nikon, the TC-2.0X teleconverter will retain 100% resolution, AF and VR functionality, minimum focusing distances and weather-sealing of the lens used with the teleconverter.
