Ultra-wide with a flexible-yet-exacting design, the NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S from Nikon is a wide-angle zoom distinguished by its advanced optical design and bright f/2.8 constant maximum aperture. This fast design suits working in low-light conditions when shooting handheld and also offers improved depth of field control. The optical system utilizes four extra-low dispersion elements and three aspherical elements, which reduce a variety of aberrations and distortion in order to achieve high sharpness and clarity along with accurate rendering of subjects and point light sources, such as stars. ARNEO and Nano Crystal Coats, as well as a Super Integrated Coating, have also been applied to suppress flare, ghosting, and surface reflections for improved contrast and color fidelity.

I'd like to use this with a Matt Box on a Film Shoot. However, I don't see a 112mm Matt Box. Any advice?
There aren't currently clamp-on 112mm matte boxes for the Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Lens. What one would need to use is a rod-mounted matte box with a rear opening of 120mm or so or larger, and a donut to then go over the lens.

How is it for city light starbursts? I'm looking for a wide lens for city lights. I really love voigtlander starbursts but I see they are limited so far with the Z Mount.
The Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Lens may be used for city light starbursts if you use a small aperture on the lens (i.e., f/11, f/16, or f/22). As the lens has nine (9) aperture blades and lenses with an odd number of aperture blades create twice as many starbursts, this lens would produce 18-point starbursts.

What's the best way to put graduated neutral ...
What's the best way to put graduated neutral density filters on this (112mm diameter) lens? I see only one screw on Nisi 0.6 gnd filter that's part of a kit. But what if I want a 0.3,, 0.6 and 0.9 gnd filters? Is there a Matte box with a variety of square 4x4 gnd filters for this lens?
You can use 112mm screw on filter with the Nikon HB-97 Lens Hood for Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Lens or (100 x 100) square filters with a holder. You will need a holder with a dedicated adapter to Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Lens. Most holders accepted 2mm thick 100 x 100mm or 100 x 150mm filters (graduated NDs) Nisi makes a full variation of ND filters under the size needed.

Does it have front screw mount filters? If so ...
Does it have front screw mount filters? If so what size? Prior G lens was so convex that you had to buy big adapters.
I purchased a Chiaro 112 uv filter and the screws in the filter did not match up perfectly with the Nikon filter mount. It seemed to work, but while out on a job suddenly fell out and broke into pieces on a nearby rock. Be real careful which lens filter you purchase. B&H rep said the Chiaro was fine, but the way it connects is snarky. Only go with a Nikon recommended filter.
