This 35mm lens produces a 63.1° coverage when used with full-frame cameras. Aspherical lenses render sharply defined images with a minimum of distortion and chromatic aberrations, with a minimum focus distance of just under 1' from the lens. The 9-blade iris also allows you to create up to a stunning 18-ray starburst when you're stopped all the way down.
A removable petal-shaped lens hood provides flare protection when shooting without a matte box, and the lens' threaded front accepts a 77mm filter ring.

Better than I expected
This is an excellent lens, much better than I expected for an affordable price lens. The construction of the lens is good, and it feels firm. The quality image is perfect, with no chromatic aberration or distortion. I might say that It could compete with the high price lenses in terms of quality and feel.

Can not get any better than this, at any price point. I match very well with the original cinema pocket camera. This set up image quality look as good as anything new out in the market today..
Lens stops focusing at infinity after 4 months of use
This lens was amazing when I began using it, just after 4 months it stopped focusing at infinity. It's really not a good sign of a new made lens. I won't buy again
Great for the price!
Bought based off of prior knowledge of Rokinon, and a couple YouTube videos. Was a little skeptical at first, but after 10-15 minutes I was confident in this lens. Build quality is superb for the price, I feel like I could comfortably drop this lens, and it be okay. The only thing I have negative to say is that getting a motor on the aperture ring was a bit interesting, but that's just nit picking.
I can't believe it!
The lens is sharp edge to edge, the best lens I have owned and it holds up to lenses that cost thousands!!! Focus is smooth and everything works perfectly, just as it should

This lens is awesome. Kinda tricky to learn to use but once you get it, it is awesome. Used with a BMPCC 6K and the video is just beautiful!
