ISOVOX ISOMIC Overview

Capture vocals, voice-overs, and narrations in standout sound quality through the ISOVOX ISOMIC, a cardioid condenser microphone outfitted with a patented triangular Ehrlund capsule and a special ISOPOP pop filter. Record it in your studio room or maximize its potential by using it in the optional ISOVOX vocal booth.

The design of the triangular capsule yields a slew of sonic benefits including extremely accurate response to transients and a stunning frequency range of 7 Hz to 87 kHz. Plus, the ultralow self-noise (7 dBA) and high dynamic range (115 dB) ensure a quiet, sparkling clean signal that pairs well with high-performance digital recording systems.

The ISOMIC's XLR 3-pin output, high sensitivity, and compliance with 48V phantom powering make it a great match for external mic preamplifiers, and since it can handle all impedances without compromising the frequency response, it delivers consistent tonality whether you're using boutique outboard preamps or the built-in mic pres in your audio interface.
General Features
  • Optimized to produce radio-ready tone for vocals, voice-overs, narrations, and audio books
  • Designed for use in the ISOVOX vocal booth (available separately)
  • Patented triangular Ehrlund cardioid condenser capsule yields a hyper-realistic, balanced, and comfortable sound with extremely accurate transient response and minimal resonance
  • Drastically wide frequency range of 7 Hz to 87 kHz
  • Ultralow noise of 7 dBA and high 115 dB dynamic range
  • Handles all impedances without altering the frequency response
  • 48V phantom powered
  • Balanced XLR 3-pin output connector
  • Includes CloudMount stand mount and ISOPOP pop filter
  • Aluminum body with a glass bead-blasted finish
  • Made in Sweden
Capsule Design
Compared to traditional circular capsules, the patented triangular Ehrlund capsule recovers from sound pressure waves over three times faster. This results in a highly accurate transient response while minimizing diaphragm resonance and coloration. Additionally, the triangular capsule provides a visually striking element to the mic.
