Does what it's supposed to do

Mounts easily to cold shoe, even has tripod size thread on bottom. Only con I have is after attaching and detaching my light a few times it caused the rubber to rip on the light, now it's no longer weather resistant and I'll have to replace it. It may be because I'm using the old version (Lumiee) but I was told by a Spiffy Gear representative that it's compatible. I find it safer to slide the Kyu-6 lights in rather than snap it in.
