Key Features
  • E-Mount Lens/Full-Frame Format
  • Aperture Range: f/4.5 to f/22
  • Two Aspherical Elements, One UHR Element
  • Three Extra-Low Dispersion Elements
An ultra-wide field of view along with a sleek design, the Sony E-mount Laowa 11mm f/4.5 FF RL from Venus Optics is a unique wide-angle prime with rectilinear rendering that is ideal for interior, architecture, nature, and landscape applications. The huge 126° angle of view is aided by an advanced optical design, which includes aspherical high refractive index, and low dispersion elements, to realize well-corrected, sharp, and color-accurate imagery. The lens has a manual focus design and permits working with subjects as close as 7.5" away and its built-in petal-shaped hood helps to block stray light from causing unwanted lens flare.

Is the len hood detachable? Can I use a generic 100mm square filter holder with generic 100m sqaure filter on it? Thanks.
Asked by: Ke
The petal-shaped lens hood is built-in, not removable, and not reversible. Unfortunately, this means generic or third-party filter holders won't work. Laowa has a magnetic filter system for the lens coming soon, and it seems that will be the only way to get 4x4" or 4x5.65" size filters to work with the lens.
