Are the V-Flat World Duo-boards heat-resistant and food safe?

V-FLAT WORLD 30 x 40" Duo-Board Double-Sided Background are not heat resistant. And you can photograph food on it but it is not listed as food safe.

Are the patterns seamless if you put two boards of the same pattern side by side to make a larger background?

Two, V-FLAT WORLD 30 x 40" Duo-Board Double-Sided Background (Whitewash/Hickory Planks) might not line up in terms of the pattern. So putting two boards together you might see that.
