Make sure you have the latest firmware installed on your meter. I didn't and it took me two days to hear back from Sekonic to tell me to update me firmware

I haven’t been able to use this transceiver yet, because it requires an update to the firmware on my meter. I’ve been struggling with Sekonic’s software to try and get my meter updated, but have had no luck yet.

Since Covid happened I've been on a really tight budget but this is well worth every red cent. I've been only shooting portraits and without this module it's been a lot of running back and forth for HSS but with this, I set my transmitters on APP and now the meter sets my transmitters. All I do now is go behind my camera, check my settings and shoot. This module is a win win tool, especially if you shoot with HSS.

Works really well but missing some key features. For basic stuff, it's great. Meters all groups or one group at a time individually with full power control over all lights individually or all at the same time - very nice. When you want to get more advanced, things start to fall apart. There is no way to enable the proportional modeling light setting via the light meter, you can use only percentage mode (but, you can turn it on in the lights after starting the meter if you don't care about turning it on or off remotely). You cannot enable or disable groups of lights, the meter only allows you to enable one light or all lights. No switching between key lights, just all lights or one light. Personally, the latter is not an issue for me (I generally don't switch lights on or off) but lack of proportional mode is unfortunate. If you just want to wirelessly meter your lights and don't need advanced control like you would get through your XPRO trigger, this product will be enough for you. If you need to turn on and off individual groups, perhaps not.

This will be the SECOND unit, that doesn't work! I will be returning it again! GODOX you need to get it together with your quality control! The manufacturing is poor!

Once my light meter have the latest firmware (V17), it works like a charm. Before the firmware update, it does not work at all. Have to open the FWDownloader.exe app for DTS to update the firmware. One star removed because Sekonic does not tell us to have to open this later app to allow DTS to update the firmware.
