Can I connect this to my laptop Thunderbolt 3 port? Is so, which cable should I use, and what speed should I expect?
Asked by: giora
Yes, Thunderbolt3 is backwards compatible with USB-C speeds and will be able to connect in the TB3 port. You should get USB 3.2 transfer speeds.

At what speed this SSD V2 drive will work with ...

At what speed this SSD V2 drive will work with Apple (M1) MacBook Air or MacBook Pro - 2000MB/s ? Or is limited to10gbps bandwidth ?
Asked by: PIOTR
According to Sandisk (WD), "Up to 2000MB/s read and write speeds. Based on internal testing; performance may be lower depending on host device, interface, usage conditions and other factors. 1MB=1,000,000 bytes." The maximum theoretical throughput via a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port is 10 Gbps (1,250 MBps). If the port is 3.2 Gen 2x2, then it is 20 Gbps but for this drive it is up to 2,000 MBps.
