It works and pair easily but if you are planning to use it on a concert, runway, worship house or any other crowded event you must have a plan B in case it looses signal for a short period of time.

These units are really well built and versatile. We use the transmitter to send a reference image to an iPad or phone for smaller shoots and use both the transmitter and receiver when we need to pull focus remotely. It is not quite as reliable as more expensive units but for controlled environments like interviews or light b-roll they are perfect.

Fast set-up, rock solid signal, quite operation. Units are light weight with small Np-550 batts and good power consumption. Your phone will need 5Gz to use wifi app.

We finally starting having services in our church since the pandemic. We have large monitors that were tied to a mixer in the front of our church. We need a way to send our social media broadcast from a computer in the rear of the church to these monitors. The Hollyland setup was perfect. It flawlessly transmits the video along with all the overlays and lower thirds coming from our computer. This purchase was definitely worth every penny..

Would this work with a HDMI splitter so that I could use a Atomos ninja v?
Asked by: Damion
I imagine you're trying to split the HDMI so it could go into another output source? I would have Mars 400S transmit straight to Ninja V and then Ninja has an HDMI out that can go in another source to create that chain. Hope this helps.
