Offering numerous upgrades over its predecessor, the DJI Pocket 2 Creator Combo adds a 1/1.7" 64MP CMOS sensor, up to 8x zoom, a 93° angle of view, and four directional stereo microphones with DJI Matrix Stereo audio zoom, utilizing its lightweight, ultra-compact 3-axis gimbal stabilizer and 4K camera combination. New software enhancements have also been added, including an updated ActiveTrack 3.0, built-in glamour effects, an AI editor, Hybrid AF 2.0, and motion-lapse, without the need for the smartphone app. It's got everything you need for a high-resolution mobile production to create family videos, add footage to your photo shoots, or vlog your latest streaming creations with smooth motion video.
Weighing just over four ounces, this all-in-one unit features a 3-axis gimbal stabilizer for smooth movement and easy pan-and-tilt control. The Pocket 2 incorporates a 1/1.7" sensor and a wide 20mm, 93° angle-of-view lens to record up to cinematic 4K60 video at 100 Mb/s and up to 64MP still photos onto a microSD card up to 256GB in capacity. The four microphones allow you to capture enhanced stereo audio, and they feature noise reduction and a zoom function that follows the zoom of your camera to capture enhanced audio in a tighter shot. The camera can utilize 8x zoom for stills, 4x zoom for 1080p video and audio, 3x zoom for 2K video, and 2x zoom for 4K video.
Use DJI's Mimo app and your iOS or Android smartphone to polish your footage with preset shooting patterns, camera motions, filters, and soundtracks. The app isn't even required to add glamour effects and to do basic editing, and you can even set it to motion-lapse with a single touch. You can also live stream your video to the web using the app. Unlike a similarly sized smartphone, the candy bar-sized Pocket 2 offers intelligent functions like Story Mode, Active Track 3.0, hyper-lapse, panorama, and motion-lapse to create compelling creative effects. Choose between 180° and 3 x 3 panoramic shots to capture wide landscape vistas.
The Pocket 2 has a passive cooling system that quietly dissipates heat and a rechargeable battery that enables the camera to record up to 140 minutes. Included in the box are a cover, a mini control stick, a 1/4"-20 tripod mount, a wrist strap, a power cable, and USB Type-C and Lightning smartphone adapters.
Additional accessories in the Creator Combo include a wide-angle lens, "Do-it-All" handle, USB Type-A to Type-C splitter, a wireless microphone transmitter, a wireless microphone windscreen, and a micro tripod. Other accessories such as a charging case, phone clip, and waterproof case are available separately to round out your Pocket 2 experience.

DJI Pocket 2 Reviews
The perfect camera for traveling
Very good camera, I love the portability it has and a perfect video quality for blogging and recording travel videos
Fully justifies its name
The DJI Pocket 2 Creator Combo has exceeded my expectations with its compact size, outstanding video quality, customizable settings, and convenient accessories. The included wireless microphone, which can also be used to control the camera, and the small tripod make it a versatile tool for any creator. The panorama function is particularly impressive, allowing for great shots even in tight spaces. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase, and the compact size makes it easy to take along on any trip. The DJI Pocket 2 Creator Combo has truly been a valuable addition to my filmmaking arsenal, and I highly recommend it to anyone in search of a portable and high-quality camera solution.
Neat toy, not a practical camera
Some background: I got this to help record my son's basketball games and was tired of filling up my phone storage. The Pocket 2 seemed just what I needed. This experiment lasted two days before I got fed up with it. Let's get the positives out of the way which, unfortunately won't take long. The size of this camera is unobtrusive and the image stabilization on the Pocket 2 is fantastic and, frankly, amazing. The gimbal keeps the camera level regardless of your hand position and it's just fascinating to watch. It's remarkable engineering and it keeps the recorded image very smooth. Unfortunately, that's the end of the positives because, from a user and practicality standpoint, the Pocket 2 is just frustrating to try to use. First, let's start with the instructions. The Pocket 2 isn't particularly complicated but it's not intuitive either. Fortunately, there are several videos available in the accompanying DJI Mimo app that explain how to use the camera. Unfortunately, there's a lot of these videos that you have to go through and the audio is also entirely in Chinese. There are helpful subtitles on the screen but, if you're trying to follow along by looking at the camera, this requires you to keep looking back and forth from the device to the video. There are also videos about the device app controls which, again, if you're following along requires you to exit the video to access the camera so you can see what you're supposed to be looking at. This is really tedious. As for the camera controls, the Pocket 2 comes with slide-in manual zoom and camera controls along with interface ports for USB-C or iOS devices. Unfortunately, there's only one slot for these so you can't control the camera using the manual controls and have it plugged into a device at the same time (we'll come back to that in a minute). Incidentally, the carrying case has slots built into it that are supposed to be able to store these slide-in pieces when not in use but they don't really fit, at least not securely. These pieces are absolutely necessary and also extremely easy to lose so you'll need some sort of additional storage baggie to keep them safe and/or handy. However, manual control is kind of a moot point as the viewscreen on the device is literally the size of an adult thumbnail. This is also a touch screen so just trying to change settings on the device is an exercise in squinting at a tiny screen and trying to touch it with the smallest possible part of your finger. All of this means that you pretty much have to connect the Pocket 2 to your phone or tablet to make it usable. But, this is also a problem as the USB-C/iOS ports are too small to use with a device that has a case on it, meaning that you must take the case off of your device to make it connect to the camera. Once plugged in, the image stabilization is obvious and you have a lot of control (through the controls on your device) over the image. However, as good as the gimbal is on this camera, the zoom is just atrocious. It's not smooth at all. The zoom essentially strobes or steps in and out which is completely the opposite of every other aspect of the camera's operation and, for me, completely ruined the smooth nature of the shot. Honestly, I might have been able to live with all that if not for the kicker which is that the full battery life -- at least, in my experience -- was under 90 minutes! That was not continuous use either. It went from 100% power -- 0% power with less than 15 minutes of video to show for it. All in all, this is a product seemingly entirely constructed by engineers with zero input from actual users. The idea of spending $300-$400 for an action camera that requires me to carry essential pieces of it in a separate bag and requires me to remove the protective case on my device so I can use it and requires me to carry separate power for it, all while making it more difficult for me to learn its full use and not being completely happy with the eventual image anyway makes for a very dissatisfied user. The gimbal is a neat piece of hardware but this isn't a usable camera, it's a toy.
Great camera - small size
I was looking for a replacement for my Gopro 7 Black that I use on construction sites. It's much easier to carry this unit instead of a Gopro and separate gimbal.
Pocket 2
I've yet to scratch the surface of what this camera can do. I love the portability and how the use of a rig can give me a hand held production video camera.
I recommend
It's a easy pulling out and take photos and videos was very good resolution
Nice camera
Very easy usage. Easy setup and run. We love it.
It broke after couple of months
It had overheating problems and broke completely after couple of months of use. That is the only faulty item from many that I purchased in B&HPhoto...
