Dahua Technology X82B3A Overview

Record video from any combination of HD-CVI, HD-TVI, AHD, CVBS, or IP cameras with the Pro Series X82B3A 16-Channel 8MP Pentabrid HD-CVI DVR (No HDD) from Dahua Technology. This DVR allows users to record from up to 16 analog cameras via HD-CVI, HD-TVI, AHD, or CVBS inputs, and up to 16 IP camera inputs at resolutions up to 8MP. Equipped with two SATA ports, this recorder can support up to 20TB (available separately) of internal storage. Smart H.265+/H.264+ and H.265/H.264 video codecs ensure high-quality recording and playback.

This recorder has an RJ45 network interface and supports up to 128 users. It is compatible with iOS and Android. HDMI and VGA video outputs allows users to view footage on a monitor (available separately). ONVIF 16.12 compliance enables interoperability with other surveillance products.

the max storage this unit can hold is 20TB? Does that have to be two TB drives or can it be a combination of different sizes like 15TB & 5TB?

Currently, the Dahua Technology Pro Series X82B3A 16-Channel 8MP Pentabrid HD-CVI DVR can only handle hard drives up to 10TB. So you can use two 10TB drives to give you 20TB.

Can this unit be used with other cameras such as Axis?

This an analog DVR and will work with other analog (CVBS) or HD-CVI or HD-TVI type cameras from most other manufacturers.It will work with most IP cameras that comply to ONVIF 16.12.
