Freewell FW-H9B-BRG Overview

Freewell's 4K Series Bright Day Filter Set includes an ND8/PL, ND16/PL, ND32/PL, and ND64/PL filter along with a magnetic filter case. All four filters are hybrids that cut the amount of light hitting the camera sensor and also prevent reflections from shiny outdoor surfaces, such as glass windows and bodies of water. The filters are designed with an ultralightweight aluminum frame and glass optics with multiple layers of coating that make the filters waterproof, dustproof, scratchproof, and oilproof.

ND8/PL Filter
The ND8/PL hybrid filter cuts the amount of light hitting the camera sensor by three f-stops. This helps capture more accurate outdoor images in sunlit skies. The PL factor of the filter additionally helps prevent reflections from reflective outdoor surfaces, such as glass windows and bodies of water.
ND16/PL Filter
The ND16/PL filter cuts light by four stops for bright sunny conditions and prevents reflections.
ND32/PL Filter
Cuts light by five stops for very bright sunlit conditions and prevents reflections.
ND64/PL filter
Cuts light by six stops for capturing outdoor objects in motion, such as clouds and rivers. It allows you to slow down the shutter speed to a level that results in a natural motion blur added to the moving object. The PL factor of the filter also helps prevent reflections from reflective outdoor surfaces, such as glass and bodies of water.
