CyberLink PowerDirector 19 Ultra lacks just several features of the Ultimate version but still provides a pro-level consumer video editing solution. In regards to supported file formats, this Ultra version supports all the same ones as the Ultimate version except for the MXF format and newly added 10-bit 4:2:2 .MOV Apple ProRes support in Ultimate.

Other than this and a few new differences, you still get a feature-packed toolset of basic and advanced tools, such as frame-by-frame motion tracking, picture-in-picture and theme design, and distortion and other correction tools. For your social media projects, PowerDirector 19 Ultra allows 1:1 square video editing for Instagram and Facebook, vertical video editing for your smartphone footage, and 360° VR photo and video editing. There's also a screen recording toolset for YouTube tutorials and green screen editing for background replacement. PowerDirector is an award-winning software, having received PCWorld's Best Prosumer Video Editing Software and PCMag's Best Product of the Year awards, among over a dozen others.

The Ultra version contains 7 CyberLink and 3rd-party content packs and effects plug-ins, including the new Bloggers Social Media Pack. It also provides 50 background music tracks and over 100 audio clips. Additionally, 25GB of cloud storage is included for one year so you can access your projects remotely from anywhere.
