Upgrade from a 3700x to 5900x with 3200mhz ram and 5700xt o8c was a big improvement. With the latest amd graphics drivers and said Upgrade I went from maybe 80fps to 110fps in assetto corsa competitione'. Generally runs around 60C give or take 5 while under load with a ryugin 240 aio attached

hi B and H i bought this when the promotion was ongoing with Farcry 6 but never received any information or the code to the game with the release being right around the corner would we still be receiving the code that was supposed to be honored with the CPU i would really hope so cause im looking forward to it

What frequency of RAM is preferable for this processor? 4000 - 4400MHz?

3200MHZ CL14 or 3600MHZ CL16 is the "sweet spot" price/performance wise. Anything more than that depends on the Motherboard and if you can clock the Infinity Fabric to 1900+ or not. Some cheap motherboards may even have time with 1800MHZ Infinity Fabric, making 3600MHZ RAM a bad choice; but that's VERY rare. For best performance you want to keep Infinity Fabric clock and RAM at a 1:1 ratio. 1600 MHZ infinity fabric + 3200MHz memory (remember memory is Double Data Rate so it's really running at 1600Mhz base). 1800 Infinity Fabric + 3600Mhz Memory. Etc...
